Fleet & Facilities Manager

We are currently hiring a full-time Fleet and Facilities Manager in Grand Rapids, MI.This position is responsible for coordinating with the Director of Operations to oversee the daily operations and management of the organization's fleet of vehicles and facilities. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of both company vehicles and building facilities. The manager will handle fleet maintenance, vehicle acquisition, scheduling, and logistics, while also overseeing facility management, including maintenance, repairs, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Additionally, the manager will be tasked with optimizing cost efficiencies, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a safe, comfortable working environment for all employees.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Safely directs product movement in the warehouse in order to maintain a neat and orderly operation.
  • Ensures even distribution of product between ReStore locations.
  • Cleans and tests products to ensure a timely and smooth product flow to the retail floor.
  • Completes daily equipment inspections.
  • Completes data entry of acquisitions/inventory received and sent.
  • Stocks, picks up, and delivers supplies to support Habitat Kent projects.
  • Ensures that received donations meet the standards set by Habitat Kent and that donation receipts are accurately completed.
  • Oversees volunteers to ensure warehouse tasks are completed on time and safely, while ensuring they have a positive and enjoyable experience.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in warehouse operations.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to direct volunteers.
  • Basic math proficiency.
  • Familiarity with office equipment, including Microsoft Office and internet use.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and vehicles.
  • A valid driver’s license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Consistent attendance is required.

Pay Range and Benefits:
  • Pay range: $50,000 - $55,000
