Fleet & Facilities Manager
We are currently hiring a full-time Fleet and Facilities Manager in Grand Rapids, MI.This position is responsible for coordinating with the Director of Operations to oversee the daily operations and management of the organization's fleet of vehicles and facilities. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of both company vehicles and building facilities. The manager will handle fleet maintenance, vehicle acquisition, scheduling, and logistics, while also overseeing facility management, including maintenance, repairs, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Additionally, the manager will be tasked with optimizing cost efficiencies, ensuring smooth operations, and fostering a safe, comfortable working environment for all employees.

Position Responsibilities:
- Manage building grounds and coordinate all vacant property maintenance; oversee daily operations, perform regular inspections, oversee cleaning, maintenance, and repairs.
- Manage affiliate fleet, overseeing general maintenance and repair.
- Manage affiliate tool maintenance and storage.
- Assist with Habitat projects as required.
- Deliver supplies and materials to construction sites.
- Promote the mission, vision and values of Habitat Kent.
- Receive and maintain professional development training necessary to fulfill the minimum standards of the essential responsibilities.
- Attend specific workshops, conferences, and trainings on diversity, inclusion, intercultural competency, increasing racial equity, or alleviating racism on an annual basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Demonstrated record of dependability, responsibility, and follow-through.
- Minimum high school graduation or equivalent required.
- Minimum one-year residential construction industry experience required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor, lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
- Ability and willingness to work in all types of weather.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe record.
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery in a safe and responsible manner.
- Willingness and ability to work and communicate well with diverse groups of people.
- Perform with minimal supervision.
- Able to make decisions relevant to project changes as needed.
- Regular attendance required.
