This group helps fill our largest need – regular weekday volunteers. Carpenter’s Club includes individuals and small groups who come together at least once a month to help Habitat families while sharing their strengths and learning new skills. Consider getting involved in one of these ways: construction, gardening, photography, office support, homeownership education, and more

Qualifications
- Desire to serve the Kent County community
- Works well with others
- Available to volunteer at least 8 hours a month
- Complete an annual background check & safeguarding training
Breakdown of HFHKC’s typical construction service day
- 8 am: Volunteers Arrive/Volunteer Check-in
- 8:15 am: Welcome, Introductions, Overview of service day’s projects & safety briefing
- 8:30 am: Volunteers begin projects & tasks
- 10:30 am: AM break (coffee, water, & snacks provided by HFHKC)
- 12 pm – 12:30 pm: Lunch Break (HFHKC does not provide)
- 2 pm: PM break (coffee, water, & snacks provided by HFHKC)
- 3:30 pm: Begin Site Clean-up
- 4 pm: Service Day Concludes
